Day 8

It was alittle less darker when we went to see Ryann today, her levels were good enough that they turned her lights off last night, and they re-checked them this morning and they had actually gone down alittle more!  Which is great, it was so nice to see her face and her little eyes looking at us.  With preemies, there levels could go back and forth so she may still need the lights on and off, but for now she is doing good!

They also tested her with the bottle and she did drink 2 ml out of 7ml, which is a good start.  Next week, we will start being involved in bottle fedding her, which will be so nice because then we will get to hold her more.  We havent been able to hold her for the past 3 days, since she was under the lights and then we thought we might today, but she was resting so peacefully and they were coming into clean and change her PICC dressings, that we didnt want to annoy her, LOL!
